Getting Started
How do I install Replayd?
Download the installer from the download page, run it, and follow the setup wizard. Takes under a minute.
What games does Replayd support?
Replayd auto-detects 291+ games across Steam, Epic Games, Riot, Blizzard, and more. You can also manually add any game or application.
How do I clip gameplay?
Press your replay buffer hotkey (default: Alt+F) during gameplay. Replayd saves the last 5-30 seconds automatically. You can also start/stop manual recordings.
Do I need an account to use Replayd?
No. You can download and use Replayd without creating an account. An account is only needed for Pro features and syncing settings.
Recording
What resolution and FPS does Replayd support?
Free: up to 1080p 60fps. Pro: up to 4K 60fps. Recording uses hardware encoding (NVENC/AMF) so there's near-zero performance impact.
Will Replayd slow down my games?
No. Replayd uses GPU hardware encoding which has negligible impact on game performance. Most users see 0-2% FPS difference.
Where are my clips saved?
By default, clips save to your Documents/Replayd folder. You can change this in Settings > Storage.
Can I record a specific window or region?
Yes. Replayd supports full screen, specific window, and custom crop region capture modes.
Editor
What can I do in the editor?
The editor includes a full multi-track timeline with trimming, splitting, text overlays, meme images with green screen removal, visual effects, filters, animations, and music from SoundCloud.
What export formats are supported?
MP4 with H.264 codec (Free) or H.264/H.265 (Pro). Export at 1080p (Free) or up to 4K (Pro).
What is GPU-accelerated export?
Pro users can use their GPU's hardware video encoder (NVENC, AMF, QuickSync) to export 10-50x faster than software encoding. This is the biggest Pro benefit.
Account & Billing
What's included in the Free plan?
Everything: recording, full editor, text/memes/effects, SoundCloud music, AI Coach, 1080p export, and unlimited clips. Free forever.
What does Pro add?
4K export, GPU-accelerated encoding (10-50x faster exports), H.265 codec, priority support, and early access to new features.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes. Pro is a monthly subscription with no contract. Cancel from your dashboard and keep Pro until the end of your billing period.
How do I delete my account?
Sign in, go to your Dashboard, and contact support for account deletion. This is permanent and removes all your data.
