Is Replayd really free?

Yes. Recording, editing, and exporting at 1080p is completely free with no time limits, watermarks, or clip count restrictions. You only pay if you want Pro features like GPU-accelerated encoding and 4K export.

What's the difference between software and GPU encoding?

Software encoding uses your CPU to render video, which works on any computer but is slower. GPU encoding uses your graphics card's dedicated video encoder (NVENC, AMF, or QuickSync), which can be 10-50x faster for the same quality.

Can I cancel Pro anytime?

Yes. Pro is a monthly subscription with no contract. Cancel anytime from your dashboard and you'll keep Pro until the end of your billing period.

Will there be a yearly plan?

We're considering it. When Pro launches, we'll evaluate annual pricing based on community feedback.

Do I need an account to use Replayd?

No. You can download and use Replayd without creating an account. An account is only needed for Pro features and syncing settings across devices.
